Cole is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a National
Certified Counselor (NCC). He earned a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in
Couples and Family counseling in May of 2022 from the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro. Cole’s previous experience is working with adolescents and adults in Partial
Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), as well as individual
work. Cole works with adolescents (ages 14+), adults, couples and families experiencing
depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, substance use, life transitions,
trauma and grief.

Cole utilizes Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
and Emotion Focused Therapy to build a holistic view of the client’s life that honors their past,
acknowledges the present, and looks forward to the future. Cole tailors his therapeutic
interventions to meet the needs of the client to foster self-exploration and personal growth. He is dedicated to creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for all.
