As a mental health counselor, my job is to serve as a guide during times that feel confusing, chaotic, and hopeless. Many find the support of another is pivotal in finding solutions to create change or the ability to cope.
I hold a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology and am licensed through the North Carolina Board of Professional Counselors. I combine my personal interest in the arts and yoga with counseling interventions to integrate all aspects of human experiences: mind, body, and spirit. I offer counseling services using expressive, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral-informed, multiculturally aware, and skill based interventions to create tangible progress toward goals.
For adult and children ages 6+, my areas of specialty are anxiety, depression, self-harm, attention/ productivity, life transitions (divorce, grief, college, new parents, newly married, etc.), and destructive patterns of behavior or thinking that limit growth personally, professionally, and in relationships.
