Phillip is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a member of the American Counseling Association. He earned a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Central University in August of 2013. Phillip also holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Duke University Divinity School.
Phillip specializes in working with LGBT individuals and couples, trauma and abuse, and couples counseling. Phillip believes the goal of therapy is to assist client’s in achieving a sense of balance in their lives. He has found that a focus on balance is essential in addressing issues clients bring to therapy.
Phillip is also a Licensed Qualified Supervisor. He is currently accepting new licensed associate level clinicians seeking supervision.
