
KRISTIN MASTRO
MA, LCMHC, NCC
Kristin is Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, and a member of both the American Counseling Association and the Association for Play Therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University.
Kristin has a special interest in working with individual children and adults with emotional issues such as anxiety, attachment, trauma, and adjustment concerns. Kristin tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of the individual client and believes that her role is to support each person on their journey of self-exploration and healing in a safe and caring environment. She is committed to creating a space where clients can develop a better understanding of themselves in relation to their inner and outer worlds. Kristin utilizes a person centered approach and incorporates other treatment modalities outside of traditional talk therapy such as Sandtray and EMDR with her clients.
Kristin is also a Licensed Qualified Supervisor and is currently accepting new licensed associate level clinicians seeking supervision.
